For personal injury, malpractice and every practice that mails a client binder
New clients open your firm's notebook from a Client Login button on your website. They read every page, initial and sign where your flags say, add their driver's license, and book the video notary. Your staff sees it all the moment it happens.
Why firms switch
Today a new client gets a heavy binder by Priority Mail, fills in forms by hand, initials page after page, finds a notary, and mails it back. Pages get skipped. Signatures get missed. Your staff chases them for weeks.
Apps for Attorneys keeps your binder exactly as it is: your tabs, your forms, your order. It moves it online, where a client can't skip a signature, every field takes dictation, and every action is recorded with the date, time, device and IP address.

We listen
The same tabs your clients know: Index, Investigative Report, Client Instructions with the A–N dividers, Daily Diary, Correspondence, Bills and Receipts. Pages turn like a book.
Every page asks "I have read this page," and has a box for questions, so you hear about confusion before it costs you.

Nothing missed
Red SIGN HERE and blue INITIAL flags stick out of every page that needs one, the way your paralegal tabs a paper packet. The client adopts a signature once, then taps each flag.
The tab counts down until every one is done, and the notebook won't let them finish with a spot missing.

Identity and notary
The client photographs their driver's license and takes a selfie, then picks a time in the next seven days for the remote notary call on the documents your state requires notarized.

Your office
Answers to the investigative report, the daily diary, uploaded bills, questions, messages and a signature certificate showing who signed what, when and from where. Reply to the client right from the file.
We add one Client Login button. Your clients see your firm's name and colors, and your notebook, with nothing to download.

About us
A 100-page binder arrived by Priority Mail. Every page needed reading, many needed initials, two needed a notary. I knew there was a better way to do this for every client.

A life-changing injury has affected Rob. He can't do what he used to do, so he spends most of the day in a chair, and he spends that time programming.
Today he builds simple apps that take paper out of businesses still running on pen and envelope, starting with the client binder every injury firm mails.

Questions
No. Your web person adds one Client Login button that links to your firm's portal. If you'd like it on your own address, such as portal.yourfirm.com, your IT adds one DNS record and we handle the rest.
Under the federal ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act adopted in nearly every state, electronic signatures carry the same weight as ink for most documents. Each signature records the date, time, device and IP address. Documents your state requires notarized go through a commissioned remote online notary. Your firm decides which documents are signed online.
Only the client and your firm's staff. Each firm's data is encrypted and kept in its own vault, and every view of a file is recorded in its audit trail.
One page at a time, large type, and a microphone on every field. Clients can also save and come back later, from any device.
Yes. We build your notebook from your existing client manual, page for page, in the same order.
No. Apps for Attorneys is client-onboarding software. Your firm writes the documents and gives the advice.
